Now Hear This!

I’m a geek. I like information of topics that interest me, especially drum stuff. One of the most interesting topics to me is how drummers make a career and support themselves and their families by hitting drums. Obviously I have a vested interest in this topic, as I too make a living hitting drums.

A few months ago I came across The Working Drummer Podcast while I was researching material for a website design for a client/friend who is also a drummer.

You really need to do yourself a favor and check this site out. It’s got super in depth personal interviews with some of the best cats out there in the scene. These are real world discussions regarding pay, stress, the music industry, the recording industry and way more topics than I can think of right now.

Matthew Crouse and crew have done such a great job and cover so many great concepts. It’s really worth a listen.
