Gretch Marque Maple kit

This is my man size kit. Gretch Marquee Maple.

This is a nice large sounding kit. Much bigger tubs than the little old Hello Kitty kit. It’s still a mid price point kit, I can’t afford a sick DW or Ludwig Classic  kit. This is my happy medium. Sounds great tuned just above wrinkle. Fat Bonham sound.

I play these wide open, No muffling whatsoever. I just prefer it that way. I can get more sounds and dynamics tuning it this way. It’s just a personal preference. I’m using clear Emperor heads on the top and the reso heads that came with the kit on the bottom. I’m using a 13″ x 6″ DW Performance series snare. Great sound at a great price.

To pimp it out just a little bit I designed the bass drum reso head and printed it out thru DrumArt. These guys are great!
